Music to JOEPRAIZE is beyond just the combination of sounds to the pleasing of the ears, it is beyond the rhymes and rhythms , better put music is beyond the way the song sounds or singer is packaged though very important. To Joepraize music is a soothing sound for the spirit that refreshes the soul and body. In 2009, Joepraize launched out with his very first album titled MY PRAISE which became highly sorted for around the globe with the evergreen song MIGHTY GOD topping various music charts around the world, after which a remix of the song MIGHTY GOD was done where JOEPRAIZE featured the GRAMMY AWARD WINNING SOWETO GOSPEL CHOIR. CHRIST EMBASSY HAVEN CONVENTION WITH REV. DR. CHRIS OYAKHILOME  16TH MAY 2015 ( Saturday Evening session )   There are certain revealed definite principles of financial success, there are spiritual principles which a man will act on it will bring him financial success.   In real life it means you have to be a channel of blessings, the actual source is God and you have to be a channel for that blessing. Just because God has chosen and anointed you doesn't mean you will fulfill your calling it's your responsibility to fulfill your calling. It's up to you to learn the principles of God and learn to bring it to fulfillment   Gen 32 : 24- 26 While he was there left alone the Bible tells us a man wrestled with him not something a man, when he saw he could not prevail against him he touched the side of his thigh, it was one of those manifestations of the Spirit in the olden days. Think about it an angel wrestled with a man and did not prevail against him. This kind of wrestling was different not the type you see at WWF. Hosea 12 : 2 Jacob pleaded his case he presented his argument like a lawyer, the angel said to him he can't bless him because of his name which means a sup-planter. Do names matter? Yes, that was why God has to change Abram's name to Abraham, a child was just born when the grandfather just died and they name the child you can not hold death. Names matter that was why the angel told him he cannot bless him. Now he wants to set up his house but he can not go as Jacob, he was there petitioning God but God said now I cannot bless you because of your name. Names are important to a Christian, there are certain things that can not changed because of the consequences of your name. There's something about prayer when you have to shut yourself out of everything and talk to the Lord and He will talk to you, through prayer you communicate to God. Life is spiritual and except you operate from the realm of the spirit you could be frustrated. No weapon formed against you shall prosper if the weapons are prospering against you then you are the problem, you are in the wrong position, the life of victory is very simple even in the midst of storms. Remember when the winds were boisterous when Jesus was in the boat with his disciples and the disciples called his attention, he said to the sea be calm he didn't get afraid. Sometimes when we talk in tongues it is because you are stirring your spirit to do the right things that the spirit of God will lay in your spirit, don't talk in tongues because of fear instead say I refuse to fear. Don't set goals out of emotions but set goals by the spirit, when you pray in the spirit the Holy Ghost will take the next steps for you, when you are speaking in tongues the Holy Ghost takes over the prayer. This is the highest kind of prayer, when you pray like this you know you are taking care of the future Romans 8 : 26 When you pray like this you will be amazed at your life, these are the secrets that has been given to us by God to make a successful life and you will always win. As you speak in tongues roll your mind through the scriptures before you know it you make contact with the Holy Spirit and there is the change. You can learn these things by taking actions yielding yourself to God, in the place of prayer you will see spiritually that is why you have to pray like this and when you pray like this you remain untouchable by the enemies, then you see your future, the Holy Ghost doesn't spend time with those who don't care about the gospel. Once you do that, angels make your house their headquarters, coming in and out of your house always available making sure things are working for you. When you need things they will provide them because they would be given charge over you. When you are prayerful you remain stable, givers are targets, when you give Satan marks you out for destruction but God recognizes and protects you. What does satan attack in your life is not your money because he knows you wil get another one. What he does is to attack the Word in you and once you start loosing that Word which gave you the finances you start diverting the finances to other things that doesn't matter to God. The more you give in the house of God if you are smart the more you should be humble and keep your eyes in the right direction. Say I AM A GIVER WITH A DIFFERENCE. Phil 4 : 8 When you set your minds on things that are less than these you become a reflection of your minds, your character is a reflection of your thoughts set yourself up for progress, for winning. In the world's there those who have pledged for the eradication of the gospel of Jesus Christ but they have failed because people like us must preach and tell everybody about the gospel of Jesus Christ. They want to use state power to achieve that but we know what to do, we bow our knees in prayer, one minute with the Holy Ghost makes a difference. The corn field is full of harvest upon harvest the next 7 months of seed sowing, if you do what I told you there are several of you here that will receive $8M, next year is full of harvest the Holy Spirit is gonna have you positioned, how can these things be? He said I am God is anything too hard for me? Like mary say be it done me according to your will. Not by power nor might but by His Spirit. Romans 8 : 28 When the Holy Ghost takes over no matter what you will know that all things work together for our good I am a seed of Abraham the seed of Abraham doesn't fail. Who is the seed of Abraham? I am. I got the mindset of the righteous, we have a mindset, I am full of joy, I am full of love walking in righteousness and prosperity, goodness and mercies shall follow me. When it looks like life is frustrating and strength is leaving you what you have to do is to stop looking at the wrong things, when the children of Israel were bitten by serpent God told Moses to make a bronze serpent and hang it on a tree and anyone bitten by serpent should look on the serpent on the tree to be healed. God didn't tell them to pray or do any rituals but to look, if Jesus did it for me then I choose to live, my pain is gone and my sickness is gone so I choose to live because he died for me and gave me life of a Victor, I have a mentality of victory, success I have been raised up I am a king I can't change now, I live in Christ. I know who I am, failure? We don't struggle to be successful or prosper it's our inheritance, I am a success everything I do is for success, excellence is at work in me I am set to display his virtues and perfections. 1 Peter 2 : 9 ( Amplified version ) That's my life, I am excellent and I am displaying perfections, I am royalty a royal priesthood, king priest in the other of Melchizedek, king priest meaning King and a Priest, that's who we are. Where the word of a king is there's power, I am walking in prosperity, walking in glory I am an excited giver, giving excites me it's my life. In the next 7 months when we do that which we have been instructed to do, we do it with joy, remember no seed is small when you have a big thing to give and its not yet there speak in tongues and take the one that is available with joy and give. Then remember David, he brought down Goliath with one stone. Once David released the stone from the sling the Holy Ghost took control of it and hit the right spot on Goliath, so when you take that seed and sow it the Holy Ghost will take control of it, when the Holy Ghost tells you to give don't look at tomorrow he takes care of your future with that seed. When you give with all your heart and it looks like nothing is happening you say Lord I gave it to you. The anointing of the Holy Ghost has been here the grace that was released in this message has added to your life, He giveth more grace, there's an increased grace in your life just enjoy the fellowship of the Holy Ghost. Can you see the future, can you see what He saw in you?   We are changing lives everywhere because of the Glory of God upon us, we live in His glory, we are moving into another phase of life that's what this convention is about setting us up for another glory not business as usual the glory of God is risen upon us, God's light shines upon us.   How do you know that the wind is blowing strong? You look at the effect, this wind is stronger.

Pastor Kumuyi To Scrap Some Church Traditions And Doctrines

Pastor Kumuyi while preaching in today's Sunday Worship Service on the topic 'The Word in A Transformed Believer' reportedly chastised some sections of the church. He expressed his concerns in the message on how some church leaders have bastardized the church's doctrines of which was meant to make some corrections and lead people aright. He further explained that most of the church doctrines were man made, and he created them, not that they were from the scriptures- the reason of which is to set people on the right path are now being transformed into the things of this world.

He further said that most traditions that were borrowed into the church are going to be demolished. He went on to go against the tradition usually observed by the Church's marriage committee, which is peculiar to Deeper Life. He asked the congregation of the church "Are we not conforming with the world"
"Why are you dressing like of the world?" He called on the men to be in charge in their own home.

In his own words, he said

"Women ministry is our own making, and if we find out that the women ministry is taking us into the world and we are helping each other on how to leave like the world and marry like the world and deal with your husband like the world- if it is not helping us and if it is going to hinder us, we strike if off"

"Before I leave, I mean before I go, I am going to remove everything that I set up, that I thought will help Deeper Life and make us Holy, make us sanctified, make us deep, make us deeper. And I see it is not making us deeper, before I leave, I will uproot all of them and present to you a pure church before I leave"

"What am I afraid of? I can only be afraid of the judgement of God, therefore whoever responds, praise the lord, whoever reacts praise the lord. We are going to stand on the word of God"

"By the grace of God I am not going yet, but, before I go and I am telling you and all our leaders can hear. I am not going to hand over Deeper Life to somebody who will come and destroy everything we've built up for years, because he's man pleaser, women pleaser, never! Somebody who will stand on this word and earnestly defend the faith once delivered unto the saints, that's what we are going to do. And the whole church will unite. We are not looking for graduates, degrees- whoever! Peter did not have a degree"

"Whoever, will maintain that sanctification, Holiness without which no man shall see the Lord, Whoever will have backbone and be willing to stand faithful, sacrifice everything and bring to church to obedience to the word of God, that's the kind of leader, God will raise up for Deeper Life after I am gone"
Meanwhile, some members were crying while he was preaching. He himself was sweating profusely.
