Walking in Dominion!
Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have
always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence,
work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. (Philippians 2:12)
The life that God has given us in
Christ is a beautiful and glorious one. It’s a life far removed from sickness,
poverty, failure and frustration. The Bible says, “According as his divine
power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness,
through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue” (2
Peter 1:3). In other words, He has already done everything He needed to do
about your life; He’s given you health, prosperity, victory and joy.
However, you have a responsibility
to “work out” your own salvation in Christ. You are now the one to ensure that
all the wonderful blessings of God for you this year are expressed in your
life. There are too many people who are ignorant of this fact, and so they sit
down expecting God to carry out their responsibility.
When the Word of God is given, you
are the one to put it to work. You can’t say, “God make your Word come to
pass.” No! His Word will come to pass but you are the one who must function in
the Word! The prophet spoke concerning Jesus, “in the volume of the book it is
written of me, lo, I come to do thy will.” Jesus entered into the Father’s will
that was spoken concerning Him. That’s the way to put the Word of God to work.
You enter into it and function in the light of it.
For example, the Word of God says
concerning you that “it’s your season of Dominion,” but the enemy may still try
to attach sickness to you. It’s no use praying, “O God please take the sickness
away” because He’s done everything He needed to do about your health and told
you that it’s your season to have dominion. It’s up to you now to work out your
own health, standing on the Word and commanding the sickness to go. He won’t
chase the devil away from you, because He has defeated him and given you the
victory. Prosperity is yours now, but what happens when it seems like you’re in
lack? You have to work out that prosperity, through your confession and
operating the seed principle.
Don’t wait for God to do something
more, because you are a complete package in Christ (Colossians 2:10);
start working out your salvation. This is what the life of faith is all about.
Follow these steps to ensure that this season turns out according to the words
declared to you by the Spirit of God.
- Understand that it’s your responsibility
to ensure that this season turns out according to the Word of prophecy. Remind
yourself constantly of the scripture in 1 Tim. 1:18 that says ”
according to the prophecies which went before on thee, that thou by them
mightiest war a good warfare”.
Remember that repetition is the law
of deep and lasting impression.
- Write down specific things you
want to achieve and see in your life this season.
- Set aside personal times to pray
about those changes you desire and also to declare the words that the Spirit of
God had said concerning you.
- Take faith-inspired steps and put
the word of God to work.
- Be filled with great expectations
and know that the Word always works.
We expect to read about your
exploits. God bless you!
